Shirley Jones

A seasoned workforce management leader with more than 30 years of experience, Shirley brings extensive expertise in managed services, strategic operations, and education staffing to her role as Senior Vice President at BlazerWorks.

She leads the strategy, operations, growth, and partnerships behind the organization’s education-focused MSP solutions, helping school districts secure reliable, compliant special education professionals while improving continuity and reducing administrative burden.

 Shirley is driven by a commitment to building staffing models that truly work for schools — reducing disruption, supporting educators, and safeguarding continuity of care for students. She fosters an environment where districts feel supported, and suppliers can succeed, grounded in clear communication, consistent standards, proactive problem solving, and measurable outcomes. She believes that when staffing is done right, it becomes a catalyst for student success rather than an operational burden.

Prior to joining BlazerWorks, Shirley served as President of a large integrated MSP organization, where she led the strategic direction, sales, and operations of a $350 million workforce solutions business supporting clients across multiple talent categories. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire and serves on the board of My Breast Cancer Support. Shirley is passionate about developing future leaders and views mentoring high-performing professionals as one of her most meaningful career achievements.
