Richey Brownfield

Richey is an experienced workforce and technology leader with more than 25 years of expertise in managed services, operational strategy, and client partnerships.  At BlazerWorks, he leads the strategy and execution of MSP operations, partnering with school district leaders and staffing agencies to build scalable programs that deliver transparency, compliance, and reliable workforce coverage.

He began his career as a software developer and business systems analyst, where he developed a passion for helping organizations solve complex challenges through innovative technology solutions. Richey later transitioned into the staffing industry, implementing consultative workforce and VMS programs for Fortune 500 organizations and advancing into senior leadership roles. In 2012, he was appointed CEO of a privately held IT workforce solutions company, where his servant leadership approach and strategic vision drove 40% organic revenue growth.

Over the past nine years, Richey has partnered with executive teams at some of the nation’s largest healthcare systems to design and operate enterprise MSP programs addressing complex workforce demands—experience he now brings to the education sector.

Richey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia and is based in Atlanta, Georgia, where he lives with his wife, an educator, and their two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, especially golfing, camping, hiking, and biking.
