
Get to Know Phillip
Phillip is a highly-qualified occupational therapist who is incredibly passionate about mentoring and guiding occupational therapists and educators who are recent graduates. As an Occupational Therapy Advisor, Phillip focuses on empowering special education departments through a strength-based approach to coaching to elevate their practices and professional development. He also specializes in creating and streamlining processes for exceptional data collection and analysis to leverage high outcomes for student growth.
Phillip brings 17 years of experience as a school-based and pediatric occupational therapist. He is a Filipino American who played for Team Philippines in the 2018 Men’s Roller Derby World Cup in Barcelona, Spain. Outside of work, he volunteers to serve his local school community and participates in competitive dragon boat races throughout the US and enjoys many outdoor activities in the beautiful state of Colorado.
Phillip earned his Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Washington University, and Master of Educational Leadership from the University of Denver. Phillip is a registered Occupational Therapist, on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), holds his Colorado Principal Licensure, is a Professional Special Service Provider, a Colorado and NBCOT Board Member, and an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) member.
