Get to Know Mary

Mary is an experienced speech-language pathologist focusing on pediatric speech sound disorders, language disorders, and literacy. In her role as a Speech Therapy Advisor at BlazerWorks, Mary is passionate about providing support and resources to speech therapists and education professionals to help them succeed in their current assignment and overall career.

Mary brings several years of experience working in medical settings with adults and eight years of experience working with children in a number of settings including public, private, and charter schools, daycare facilities, and teletherapy. Her broad perspective allows her to create solutions for school professionals and students across all learning environments.

Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University and Master of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of South Florida. Mary has held her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2008 and is licensed through the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. In addition, she is a member of ASHA Special Interest Group 1 Language Learning and Education, SIG 16, School-Based Issues, and the Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (FLASHA).
