Katrina Wojtasinski is a seasoned Special Education professional who has excelled as a Teacher, Case Manager, and Consultant, with a distinguished focus on ADHD, Spectrum-based Disorders, Behavior Management and Intervention, and remote learning strategies for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students. In her role as a Special Education Advisor at Blazerworks, Katrina leverages her wealth of experience, profound knowledge, and innovative problem-solving skills to actively support and serve as a key resource for professionals in the field of Special Education. With nearly two decades of experience in education, particularly with adolescent populations, Katrina has made significant contributions across various educational settings and models. She began her career as a preschool teacher, where she quickly advanced her professional capacity as a Special Education Paraprofessional, ultimately becoming a certified Special Education Teacher. Over the years, Katrina has taught across multiple grade levels, continuously expanding her expertise. Before joining Blazerworks, Katrina worked as an Independent Contractor with Vocovision, where her hands- on experience directly addressed the challenges faced by school districts, administrators, and educators, enabling her to uniquely meet a wide range of needs serving in her capacity at Blazerworks. Katrina is a certified Special Education Teacher with expertise in administering educational diagnostic assessments and has delivered her services in several states nationwide. She is also a Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT-500) with the Yoga Alliance, integrating her passion for holistic wellbeing into her professional practice. Throughout her career, Katrina has been actively involved in prominent organizations, including the National Education Association (NEA), NEA local chapters in North and South Carolina, the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET), Special Olympics, Best Buddies International, Arts+ Music and Arts Education of North Carolina and the American Association of Educators.
