Get to Know Kathleen
Kathleen Testa is a certified school psychologist with a focus on psychoeducational assessment, support, and interventions in the areas of learning disabilities, behavior, emotional disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism, anxiety, and other health issues that may affect learning. In her role as a School Psychology Advisor at BlazerWorks, Kathleen is passionate about providing support and resources to school psychologists as well as educational teams, in an effort to foster successful work experiences for all professionals.
Kathleen brings 13 years of experience working with children in several settings, including public and charter schools, residential facilities, and a pediatric hospital. She has extensive experience in conducting psychoeducational assessments and communicating valuable information to educational teams and families regarding special education needs and services.
Kathleen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and Master of Science in School Psychology from Eastern University. Kathleen has most recently met qualifications as a Pennsylvania Level II Educational Specialist as of December 2022. She is a member of the National Association of School Psychology (NASP) and the Association of School Psychologists of Pennsylvania (ASPP).
