Get to Know Kassie
Kassie is an experienced administrator for special education and a school psychologist. In her role as an Administrative and School Psychology Advisor at BlazerWorks, Kassie seeks to provide consultation, promote collaborative problem-solving among school district team members, and provide professional development to help professionals learn and succeed in their careers.
Kassie brings many years of experience both as a school psychologist and as an administrator, working in districts of various sizes and with all grade levels. Along with her most recent dual role as Director of Special Education and school psychologist, she focused on creating various special education placement options within the district and created programs to address the mental health needs of staff and students.
Kassie earned her Educational Specialist Degree in school psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2009 and earned her Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (resulting in her Director of Special Education and Pupil Services and Principal licensure) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from DePaul University. Kassie has held her Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) certification since 2009. In addition, she is a board member for the Wisconsin School Psychologists Association (WSPA) and is an adjunct instructor for an online school psychology program through the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
