Get to Know Jennifer
Jennifer is an experienced Special Educator with over 20 years in the field working various roles. She began her career as a nanny for a boy diagnosed with autism and fell in love with special education. She then began her career in early intervention and decided to continue her education and pursue her teaching degree. Some of her previous roles have been working as a paraprofessional, a program coordinator for early intervention, and a special education teacher.
She is a firm believer that everyone can learn, and the journey is as unique as each individual. Her career is driven by the conviction that understanding and adapting to individual learning styles unlocks the full potential of every learner. She has passionately served diverse populations through differentiated teaching strategies from grades Pre-k through 5th. In her role as Paraprofessional Advisor at BlazerWorks, she hopes to provide support and resources for special education professionals.
Jennifer holds a master's in special education from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor's in psychology from Felician College. She currently holds a teaching certificate in New Jersey and in Florida for both Elementary Education and Special Education.
