Get to Know Jeanine

Jeanine Murphy is an experienced administrator supporting program development, mental health, and resolution fields and has been instrumental in developing effective strategies for districts, students, and families, fostering creative problem-solving, engagement, and partnerships. As a Special Education Advisor at BlazerWorks, Jeanine is passionate about providing expert guidance and support, building relationships based on trust and collaboration, along with facilitating professional development opportunities nationwide, ensuring successful outcomes for districts and the students they serve.  

Jeanine has a robust background in program development, coupled with a passion for supporting the education field. She has dedicated her career to enhancing collaboration and communication to achieve positive outcomes for students. She has over 30 years of experience as a mental health clinician, providing supervision and mentoring, professional and program development and expansion in both the private and public sectors. She has been involved in statewide efforts in dispute prevention and resolution, serving as the Co-Director of the special education resource lead in ADR in California.  

Jeanine received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Washington State University and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University. She also holds a Pupil Personnel Services credential in Counseling from the University of Massachusetts. Jeanine is a certified conflict coach and has completed specialized training from Pepperdine in Mediating the Litigated Case (MLC) and MLC for special educators. She is an active member of several professional organizations dedicated to mental health, dispute prevention and resolution, and special education, keeping her connected to the latest developments and best practices in the field.
