Jaime Sowers

Get to Know Jaime

Jaime is a highly qualified special education director with a passion for special education teacher retention and hiring. In his role as Clinical Advisory Team Director at BlazerWorks, Jaime enjoys helping school districts with their recruitment and retention efforts as well as focusing on post-secondary outcomes for students with disabilities.

Jaime has 20 years of experience in education, spending time as a teacher, coordinator, and principal prior to becoming a director. Jaime also spent three years as the special education director for Santa Fe Public Schools in New Mexico.

Jaime earned his Doctor of Education in Innovation and Leadership and his Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Wilmington University in Delaware. He earned his Master of Education in Special Education from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. Jaime is an active member of the Council of Administrators of Special Education, and the Council of Exceptional Children, and currently sits on two volunteer school boards.
