Get to Know Courtney

Courtney is a bilingual speech-language pathologist who specializes with assessment and treatment of communication disorders in the educational setting. As a Speech Therapy Advisor at BlazerWorks, Courtney implements her extensive professional experience to facilitate candidate support and growth, and to foster client relationships.

Courtney brings 18 years of experience as a contracted speech-language pathologist in various school districts throughout the state of California, working with populations including birth-3, preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school. Much of her focus and specialized interests relate to bilingual speech and language assessments, and the treatment of phonological impairments and language disorders. Her expertise in these areas enables her to guide educational professionals to solution-focused outcomes for students.

Courtney earned her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from Indiana University and her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology, with a double major in Spanish and a minor in Secondary Education from Western Michigan University. Courtney has held her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and her California Speech-Language Pathology license since 2005.
